BLUETOOTH® PAIRING
Perform the following steps to pair this speaker with your Bluetooth® enabled mobile
device.
1. Press and hold the Power button for about 3 seconds to power the speaker on. The
speaker will emit an ascending series of notes and the LED inside the front grille will
start blinking blue, indicating that the speaker is in Bluetooth pairing mode.
If the speaker has been previously paired with a device, which is powered on,
has Bluetooth turned on, and is within range, it will automatically reconnect. If
you wish to pair the speaker with another device, press and hold the Power
button for about 2 seconds to clear the existing pairing and put the speaker into
Bluetooth pairing mode.
2. Open the settings on your mobile device, ensure Bluetooth is turned on, then
perform a search for nearby Bluetooth devices.
3. When the search is completed, select the Deep Blue Sea entry. If you are prompted
for a passcode, enter 0000 (four zeroes). The LED under the front grille will cease
blinking and the speaker will sound a tone. Depending on your device, it will
automatically connect. If it does not, select the entry on your mobile device to
connect with the speaker.

HANDLING PHONE CALLS

• When an incoming call is received, audio playback will automatically pause and the
speaker will sound a ringtone.
• Momentarily press the Call/Play/Pause button to answer the call.
• When the call is completed, momentarily press the Call/Play/Pause button to
terminate the call. Audio playback will automatically resume.
• To reject an incoming call, use your phone's call reject function.
