The cards present themselves to the operating system through a Fusion-MPT™ interface as single or multiple drives that require minimal user configuration.     Unpack the Nytro WarpDrive card and inspect it for damage. Unpack the card in a static-free environment and follow good antistatic grounding procedures. Remove the Nytro WarpDrive card from the antistatic bag, and carefully inspect it for damage. If you notice any damage, contact Seagate, or your reseller support representative.     For the Nytro WarpDrive 6301 card, sequential writes of 100 percent with an I/O size of 64 KB consumed the most power. Seagate measured power consumption from the 12-V rail and the 3.3-V rails under a number of I/O loading conditions to find this result.

    Due to unique weight, power consumption, and thermal dissipation requirements, the Nytro WarpDrive 6301 cards are recommended for operation in servers that Seagate has qualified. Servers on the Seagate qualified server list are tested in Seagate labs and confirmed to offer sufficient power and thermal support. Some adjustment to factory servers settings might be necessary to achieve correct power and thermal settings.
