CHECKING OIL FILTER AND BYPASS FILTER
• Remove the drain plug ① at
the lower part of oil filter and
drain the engine oil.
• Remove the bolt ② holding
the oil filter canister in place.
Separate the oil filter canister
and remove the old oil filter.
• Install new oil filter.
• Run the engine and check for
oil leaks.
• Turn off the engine and
check the oil level. Add oil if
necessary.

USED OIL MUST BE STORED IN A SAFE PLACE AWAY FROM CHILDREN
AND SOURCES OF IGNITION. IF YOU HAVE A USED OIL DISPOSAL
PROBLEM, PLEASE HAVE THE ENGINE OIL CHANGED BY YOUR NEAREST
HYUNDAI SEASALL SERVICE DEALER.
