You can increase to +6.0 dB by pressing the x, or decrease to -6.0 dB by
pressing y. This holds true for the CD, V1, V2, TV-V3, TUNER, and TAPE level
settings. The level controls are for matching the input levels of all your sources
coming into the preamplifier.

Selects the corresponding AUDIO L/R analog input for Pro Logic
Surround Processing.
Selects the corresponding digital input for PCM Pro Logic Surround
Processing. If Dolby Digital is detected, Dolby Digital surround
processing is automatically used.
