Wi-Fi
With wireless access, cables are not needed to connect the HP iPAQ to the Internet. Instead, access
points transmit data to and from the wireless device. The HP iPAQ can connect to an 802.11b/g WLAN
or connect directly to other WLAN-enabled devices. With Wi-Fi, you can:

Access the Internet

Send and receive e-mail
●
Access corporate network information
●
Use Virtual Private Networks (VPNs) for secure remote access
●
Use hotspots for wireless connectivity
Tap Start > iPAQ Wireless to access the Wi-Fi features.
NOTE
communications, such as Bluetooth devices, may require separately purchased additional
hardware and other compatible equipment, in addition to a standard Wi-Fi infrastructure and a
separately purchased service contract. Check with your service provider for availability and
coverage in your area. Not all web content may be available. Some web content may require
installation of additional software.
