Connecting to Other Devices

Connecting to Audio Equipment

You can connect audio devices to play the sound of the DP-
990 through the speakers of your audio system, or to record
your performance on a tape recorder or other recording
device.
Use phone plug audio cables (sold separately) to make
connections.

Connecting Speakers to the DP-990 and Outputting Sounds

Output Jacks
1.
Turn the volume all the way down on the DP-
990 and on the device you're about to
connect.
2.
Turn off the power to the DP-990 and
connected speakers.
3.
Use audio cables (sold separately) to make the
connection.
4.
Switch on the DP-990.
5.
Switch on the connected speakers.
6.
Adjust the volume level on the DP-990 and the
connected speakers.
When you play the DP-990's keyboard, the sound is
played from the connected speakers.

* When connection cables with resistors are used, the
volume level of equipment connected to the Input jacks
may be low. If this happens, use connection cables that
do not contain resistors.
* To prevent malfunction and/or damage to speakers or
other devices, always turn down the volume, and turn
off the power on all devices before making any
connections.

1.
Turn the volume all the way down on the DP-
990 and on the speakers you're about to
connect.
2.
Turn off the connected speakers.
3.
Turn off the DP-990.
