AINTENANCE
Engine oil - the oils recommended for use in your refrigeration unit
must comply with the American Petroleum Institute's (API) CI or
higher rating or Mobil Delvac 1 synthetic oil. The use of any oil that
does not meet this rating may affect the warranty on the engine in
the unit. The use of oil of the proper weight (viscosity) is also
essential. The following chart indicates the SAE Weight Rating of
the oil to be used in various climates:

To check the engine oil level: Run the
unit to bring the engine up to operating
temperature, shut the unit off, and
unscrew the cap/dipstick.
dipstick clean and insert it into the oil fill
tube without threading it all the way back
into the tube. Remove the dipstick again
and check oil level. DO NOT add oil if the
level is in the "safe" range. If needed, add
oil as indicated by markings on dipstick
until level is in the "safe" range.
