Adjustment purpose
The best white balance of picture.(50%White)
Symptom when
Monochrome picture has a color tint.
incorrectly adjusted
* Make this adjustment only when a monochrome picture has color tints
remarkably.
* Enter the adjustment commands and adjustment values of the decimal number in
small alphanumeric letters.
* Carry out this adjustment after running the product for 2 minutes or more
supplying the specified test signal to it.
1. Connect this PROJECTOR to a personal computer (with Microsoft
95 Operating System). (Refer to the figure on P.1)
2. Start Microsoft
3. Start the communication program [Hyper Terminal] in Microsoft
to open the window. (For setting, refer to Hyper Terminal setting on P.2)
4. Set the following items on the picture menu.
CONTRAST . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .0
BRIGHTNESS . . . . . . . . . . . . .0
COLOR TEMP . . . . .1 (standard)
5. Project a picture on the screen.
6. Supply an SVGA signal (White 50%, No. 12).
7. Enter the adjustment commands of red, green or blue so that the color tints at
the screen center disappear.
Increase the adjustment value to deepen the color adjusted, and decrease it to
lighten the color.
Optimum adjustment range (reference) x=0.277+0.010 / -0.015
8. Write the changed value onto the EEPROM by entering the command for
writing after the adjustment.
Red (Red Gamma Bright)
a. Enter the adjustment command [00 ~ 801
adjust the red to be optimum. Enter [-30]~[+10] to
