3.30 Auxiliary Screen
The T-1000 Touch Screen Program is preprogrammed to accept almost all auxiliary equipment
signals. Accepting the signals from other equipment so that the two or more pieces of equipment
"talk" to each other is essential to a fully automatic packaging system. Rarely will
reprogramming be necessary to interface auxiliary (infeed) equipment. Additional cabling,
however will be required which will transfer the signals between the T-1000 and your existing
equipment. Three auxiliary signals are provided with the T-1000 so that no additional
modifications or wiring is required for the integration.
Once connected and with both systems running
independently, turn the Auxiliary Signal ON by
pressing the ON/OFF toggle button from the
Auxiliary Screen. An output time delay is
provided which delays the bagger from sealing
after the auxiliary infeed signal has cycled and
signaled the bagger to seal. To adjust the delay
timer, press the <Output Delay> button and enter
the value, in seconds, on the number keypad. See
Fig. 3-6.
CAUTION: We recommend that APPI technicians
provide the cable(s) linking the equipment.
Contact APPI customer support for information which will be required for the integration.
When the Auxiliary setup procedures are
complete, toggle the T-1000 from <Manual> to
<AUTO> by pressing the <Manual/Auto> toggle
button. This will place the T-1000 in the
Automatic / Auxiliary mode.
3.31 Graphs Screen
Graphic production screens are provided to
illustrate the number of cycles per minute, hour
and average. Touch the graph for more
information including the formula used to
generate the data. Fig. 3-7.
A line graph is provided to illustrate production
speeds for the past 36 hours of production. Touch
the line graph to expand the graph and illustrate
more detailed information. Fig. 3-8.
To reset the graph, press the <Reset> button. To
reset the time also, press the <Reset> button twice.
