The WaveGuide Directional system is a radar based level gauge for measuring water level
and wave characteristics in offshore environments, lakes and rivers.
Safety
The mechanical and electrical installation shall only be carried out by trained personnel with
knowledge of the requirements for installation of explosion proof equipment in (potentially)
explosive conditions. The entire installation procedure shall be carried out in accordance
with national, local and company regulations and standards.
Use only Explosion proof (Ex d) compound cable glands or conduit seals. Taking into
account the local requirements, the local conditions, that the internal volume inside the
sensor is larger than 2 [Liter] and that the sensor is classified as an Ex d IIB T6 Ga/Gb
