9. Metallic outer layer is connected to the grounding bus bar
through grounding clips, and then a tinplated copper wire
with cross section area not less than 95mm2 or zinc-plated
flat steel is led out from the bus bar and connected to the
grounding point of the iron tower.
Instructions to be followed during connector installation:
Feeder cable should be kept straight for at least 150 mm.
Special-purpose tools should be used to cut feeder cables.
Ruler should be used to measure the length accurately.
Plug-in components should not be moved when tightening
the connector with a spanner.
Rotate the connector fastener component to screw the
connector tightly.
Label should be attached on both ends of the main feeder
cable.
Label should be placed onto the iron tower, to facilitate
distinguishing
transmitting/receiving features during line connection.
Labels should be attached properly, to avoid damage that
occurs due to friction with the steel frame of the iron tower.
Feeder Window Installation
Feeder window should be constructed before directing the feeder
cable into the equipment room.
Steps to be followed during feeder window installation:
1. Drill holes at appropriate positions on the wall of the
equipment room as shown in Figure 100.
