Things to Consider Before You Install the HC-250
1 Mounting options. You can mount the HC-250 Controller on a wall or stack it on a shelf. See the HC-250
Controller Installation Guide for details.

The HC-250 can be used as a Primary Controller or a Secondary Controller.

We recommend that the HC-250 be used for small systems or as a Secondary Controller.

PoE (Power over Ethernet) or AC can be used to power the Controller.
5 Ensure that your network is in place. We recommend that you use Ethernet with PoE rather than WiFi for the
best network solution.
