Connecting to an Electrical Power Source

Plug the power cable provided with your encoder to the block end of the power unit located on the
upper corner on the rear panel of the encoder.
Plug the other end into a wall outlet or surge protection enabled power strip that is connected to wall
outlet or other common power source.
The plug-socket combination must be accessible at all times, because it serves

as the main disconnecting device.
Do not work on the system or connect or disconnect cables during periods of

lightning activity.
