Carefully disconnect anti-theft
alarm system bracket 5 from
rear frame and turn upward.

Actuate locking mechanism 6
and disconnect connector.
Press locking mechanism 7
to left with small screwdriver
while simultaneously sliding
connector toward rear off anti-
theft alarm system bracket.
Remove anti-theft alarm sys-
tem bracket.
Protect connector on motorcy-
cle against soiling.
Remove screws 8 with wash-
ers and take off license-plate
carrier. Guide cable through
opening 9 when doing so.
