.................................................................................................................................................................................................................................
Locations
The LAN ports are positioned on the:
User Panel (LAN1):
- LAN1 → CIT interface
CI-CTL (LAN2, LAN3, LAN4):
- LAN2, LAN3 → Local EMS (HUB) or CIT interfaces
- LAN4 → Lambda Xtreme interface.
Connector data
The LAN cables have an 8-pin RJ45 modular plug (shielded).
NOTE: The LAN interfaces are SELV (Safety Extra Low Voltages) circuits according
to IEC 60950. Therefore, they must be connected to a "network environment 0"
according to IEC 62102. That means the connected LAN is not supposed to leave the
building or if it does leave the building another Ethernet device is supposed to separate
the "network environment 0" from "network environment 1".
CIT connection(s)
The LAN1 port on the User Panel is the dedicated port for the CIT, but the LAN2 and
LAN3 ports at the rear of the CI-CTL can also be used.
