To configure SNMP:
1. From the top menu bar, select Networks; from the left menu panel, select

The system invokes the SNMP Daemon Settings form:

SysContact
SysLocation
If you are using SNMPv3, skip steps 2 and 3; proceed to step 4.

Definition
The community name acts as a password to
authenticate messages sent between an SNMP cli-
ent and a router containing an SNMP server. The
community name is sent in every packet between
the client and the server.
The email of the person to contact regarding the
host on which the agent is running (e.g.,
me@mymachine.mydomain)
The physical location of the system (e.g., mydo-
main).
