B: The camera makes settings suitable for conditions (full auto).

Capture the image.
Shooting with the slim (variable digital zoom) setting

Select the slim icon ñ from the
scene select menu, and press the
SET button.

Press the SET button again, and
press the arrow buttons to zoom.
Press the [j] or [l] button to magnify
the image vertically.
Press the [d] or [c] button to magnify
the image horizontally.
œ Maximum magnification is approx. 4x.

Capture the image.
NOTE
œ The digital zoom cannot be used with the slim ñ setting.
To return to normal shooting
œ Select B from the scene select menu, and press the SET button.
