Device Variables (cont.)
The available device variable codes that can currently be published are tabulated in Table 17 below. The Device
Variable Family Code for all measurements is 250, "Not Used." Device variable numbers and unit types are listed in
this section. Selectable Unit Types are restricted in such a way that each Variable Class can use only a single unit at a
time. For instance, if a Volumetric Flow variable unit is changed, all subsequent Volumetric Flow variables will switch
to that unit. This keeps forward and reverse internal Sentinel LCT4 units in sync with the HART variable type.
