Press the POWER button to turn the power on.
Use the
electronic
equalization
system
to adjust
the

When the power is turned
on or off, the CD changer
takes approximately

Volume
control

Turn the VOLUME
control clockwise
to increase the vol-
ume. Turn it counterclockwise
to decrease
the volume.
VOLUME
Bass expander
switch
(BASSXPANDER)
Press the BASSXPANDER
switch (button
IN) to increase
the
low-frequency
sound
at all listening
levels.
Press
the switch
again
(button
OUT) to return the frequency
response
to normal.

This setting increases the low-frequency
output (bass).
CLASSICAL:
This setting maintains
flat (even) frequency
response.
JAZZ:
This
setting
increases
the
low
and
high
frequency
response
(bass and treble).
SPECTRUM
CONTROL
Usethe SPECTRUM
CONTROL toemphasize
onlythebass
or treble response.
To emphasize
the treble response,
turn the control to the
right (HIGH).
To emphasize
the bass region, turn the control to the left
(LOW).

headphone
socket (PHONES)
BASSXPANDER
Insert the miniplug
from a pair of headphones
(not sup-

plied) into the headphones
socket. When headphones
are
plugged
in, the speakers are automatically
disconnected.
WHAT TO DO IF ...
Ifthe operation
of the unit ordisplayis
not
normal,
disconnect
the mains
lead from
the AC outlet and remove the batteries
(if
applicable),
then press the RESET button
(back of the unit) for at least 20 seconds.
