must be disposed
of in a safe manner that complies
with all applicable

remote
control
emits
an invisible
infrared
beam,
which carries the control signals to the sensor window
on
the front
panel of the unit. Because
the infrared
beam
travels
in a straight
line, the Transmitter
Window
on the
remote control must be pointed toward
the infrared
sen-
sor window
on the unit. Make
sure that there
are no
objects
between
the remote
control
and the unit that
might block the beam.
Remote
control
range
Use the remote
control within
an angle of 15° to the left
and right horizontally
and over distances
up to approxi-
mately 7 meters.
