Removing/Installing the Controller Shroud

NOTE: For this procedure, refer to FIGURE 9.1 on page 56.

Removing

1. Remove the two screws that secure the controller shroud to the frame.
2. Remove the controller shroud.

Installing

1. Insert the tabs at the bottom of the controller shroud into the slots in the bottom of the
frame.
2. Secure the controller shroud to the frame using the two screws. DO NOT overtighten.

Removing/Installing the Swingarm Assembly

NOTE: For this procedure, refer to FIGURE 9.2 on page 58.

Removing

1. Remove the front caster assembly. Refer to Removing/Installing Forks and/or Caster
Assemblies on page 53.
2. Remove the drive wheel. Refer to Removing/Installing the Drive Wheel on page 54.
3. Ensure the front and top shrouds are removed. Refer to Removing/Installing the Top
Shroud on page 55 and Removing/Installing the Front Shroud on page 56.
4. Remove the four screws that secure the swingarm assembly to the motor.
5. Remove the locknut and spacer that secure the swingarm assembly and bracket to the
frame.
Installing
1. Install the locknut and spacer that secure the swingarm assembly and bracket to the
frame.
2. Install the four screws that secure the swingarm assembly to the motor.
3. Install the drive wheel. Refer to Removing/Installing the Drive Wheel on page 54.
4. Ensure the front and top shrouds are installed. Refer to Removing/Installing the Top
Shroud on page 55 and Removing/Installing the Front Shroud on page 56.
5. Install the front caster assembly. Refer to Removing/Installing Forks and/or Caster
Assemblies on page 53.
