Chapter 2 Hardware Setup
There are some points that should be paid attention to when setting up
A400E.
2.1 Power supply
The board is powered by PCI Express slot, which provides power the
A400E need, so there is no need for external power source no matter what
modules you have setup.
2.2 Slot compatibility
A400E is compatible with PCI-E slot, i.e., PCI-E × 1(slot 1), × 2, × 4, × 8,
× 16 are all fit for A400E, while PCI is not fit; you should confirm your
slot type and insert A400E into any type of PCI-E slot as previously
described.
