The time remaining until the end of the process, including the cooling step, is displayed in hours and minutes
and counted down minute by minute. The display shows HIGH temperature 2:20 or LOW temperature 2:20.
When timer delayed programmes are selected, the time displayed during the cycle is the time remaining
at that particular moment.
When an automatic programme is selected, the time displayed is a forecast of the time remaining. Once a
programme has been selected, the display indicates the time needed to dry a full load, then after approxi-
mately 10 minutes the controller will compute a more accurate forecast of the time remaining.
The dots between the hours and minutes blink in the display to indicate the time elapsing.
Once the the drying step of the programme has finished, the message END is displayed. The display will
also indicate any fault affecting the dryer. In this eventuality, the letter F appears followed by a fault code
number (see Fault finding).
Empty water icon / Tray
(If the dryer is connected to a drain line, this icon can be ignored as there is no need to empty the conden-
sate tray).
When this icon is alight (permanently) it reminds the user to empty the tray. If the tray should fill up during
the course of a programme, the heater switches off and the dryer activates a Cooling step. In this situation,
the icon blinks and the buzzer will sound.
At this point, the dryer stops, all the progress icons light up, and the empty water icon blinks.
The tray must now be emptied and the machine restarted, otherwise the clothes will not dry. After restarting
the dryer, a few seconds will elapse before the alarm condition of the icon is reset.
To prevent this situation from occurring and avoid having to restart, empty the tray every time the dryer is
used (see Maintenance section).
Opening the door
If the door is opened with a programme in progress, the dryer will stop and the following situation is crea-
ted:
› All 4 progress icons light up.
› During a delay period, the delay will continue to count down. The START button must be pressed to
reinstate a delay programme.
The progress icons change to indicate the current status.
› During the drying stage of the programme, the dots on the display cease blinking to indicate that the
time is beginning to run down.
The START button must be pressed to reinstate the programme. The progress icons change to indicate
the current status, the dots blink, and the countdown continues.
› During an drying or cooling programme, or during a Post Care, the programme finishes and the message
END is displayed.
Note
In the event of a power failure, switch off or unplug the machine, then press the START button and the
programme will be reinstated.
