Depending on the type of machine (Ariston or Indesit), drying temperatures are governed by thermostats positioned adjacent to the hot air (steam) duct.

    2.3 ELECTRONIC CONTROL LOgIC Estimate of programme duration on the basis of communication between the two NTC sensors and the conductivity sensor. The method for calculating the duration of programmes is as follows: • Each drying cycle includes a procedure, active for the first 10’, in which the controller establishes the type of load, and in particular the moisture content.
  • Page 17 Air temperatures for single programmes • Indesit electromechanical condenser dryers: front thermostat operates at 78 °C. • Indesit electromechanical vented dryers: front thermostat operates at 58 °C • Electromechanical vented dryers (Ariston): operating temperatures of the front thermostats are 55 °C for full load and 60 °C for half load.

  • Page 20 The time remaining until the end of the process, including the cooling step, is displayed in hours and minutes and counted down minute by minute. The display shows HIGH temperature 2:20 or LOW temperature 2:20. When timer delayed programmes are selected, the time displayed during the cycle is the time remaining at that particular moment.

  • Page 22 OPTION buttons / indicators These buttons are used to personalize the selected programme on the basis of individual needs and prefe- rences. Before any option can be selected, a programme must be selected with the knob. Not all the options are available for all programmes (see Start and programmes section).
  • Page 23 (If the dryer is connected to a drain line, this indicator can be ignored as there is no need to empty the condensate tray). When this indicator is alight (permanently) it reminds the user to empty the tray. If the tray should fill up during the course of a programme, the heater switches off and the dryer activates a Cooling step.

    Mainboard Condenser The mainboard is located in the bottom front part, on the right; it includes a serial port for connection of the hardware key. The board can programmed if replaced, or if the EEPROM file suffers damage, or when a new version becomes available.

Protection is guaranteed by a bimetal thermal overload cutout that resets automatically, and may disconnect the electrical power input to the windings. AUTOTEST AND fUNCTIONS SEqUENCE 5.2.1 AUTOTEST wITh LED INTERfACE The test programme requires the use of the hardware key and test fuse, which has a resistance of approx 270k between the two magnets. The fuse is installed between the conductivity sensor and the drum. To set up the test programme, close the door and press the button on the HW key.
