ges every 150 seconds approx (ARISTON dryers
only).
12 Fan by which outside air is drawn in and blown
onto heating elements.

The motor drives both the fan and the drum, alterna-
ting the direction of rotation at set intervals which are
programmed electronically or timed electromechani-
cally; when the drum rotates counterclockwise, the

heating elements are deactivated.
Air drawn in from the outside is blown through the
7
heating elements and into the drum, entering by way
8
of the rear holes.
The forced air, heated, penetrates the damp fabrics
and converts the moisture to steam. From here, the
steam passes through a filter located in the bottom
part of the door seal and is vented to the atmosphere
by way of a duct.
