5. Ensure that the configuration PC is
connected to S7-300 "Backup" via
SCALANCE X108. Load the program to
the S7-300 CPU. When configuring the
S7-300 CPU for the first time, it is
required to select the connection partner
using the MAC address.
6. Connect S7-300 "Backup" to S7-200
"Basis" via SCALANCE X108.
7. Restart S7-200 "Basis".
Configuring S7-400 "Backup" station with STEP 7 project

2. Switch on the power supply.
3. Open the included S7-400 project
"Set14_S7-400_V2-0.zip" on the
configuration PC using STEP 7 and make
the following settings in STEP 7:

Interface" to "STEP7
