1. The WinCC flexible "HMI" station enables
a visualization and control of the data
records to be backed up in all "Backup"
stations.
2. The use of a uniform data structure
ensures that the access to the data
records is identical for all "Backup"
stations. Switching to each "Backup"
station and accessing the archive data is
only possible via a WinCC flexible
project.
3. The variables in the WinCC flexible
project are cyclically updated.
Process values(reading): Updating every
two seconds

Input(writing): Updating every 500
milliseconds
4. To avoid that a multiple of variables and
input/output boxes has to be created due
to the selection of different "Backup"
stations in one WinCC flexible project,
the variables are only addressed during
runtime. This is realized by multiplexing
the variables.
