Operation

General information
The application example of a bottling plant is used to illustrate the features
of Micro Automation Set 14.
A specific quantity of an ingredient (weight) is filled at a specific time. The
weight with time stamp is archived as quality assurance measure.
Depending on the configuration of Micro Automation Set 14, this
functionality can be tested as follows.
Archiving in the S7-200 "Backup" station
As soon as S7-200 "Basis" and S7-200 "Backup" are configured and the
connection via Ethernet exists, data records are sent to the "Backup"
station every 20 seconds. With the S7-200 Explorer, the data records can
be opened and displayed using Microsoft EXCEL.

Open the S7-200 Explorer in STEP 7

Double-click "DAT-Konfiguration
0(DAT0))".

The archive is now opened e.g. with
Microsoft EXCEL and the data records
are displayed in tables. One row includes
20 data records.
Archiving in the "Backup" stations S7-300, S7-400 and WinAC
As soon as S7-200 "Basis" and an S7-300, S7-400 or a WinAC "Backup"
station are configured and the connection via Ethernet exists, data records
are sent to the "Backup" station every 20 seconds. The "Archive_131" data
