Turn the Gas
On/Off Knob to
"Gas Off" position ,
and slide
the Electric On/Off Slide Switch to left:
"Elec.
On".
Be sure to locate the slide head just below the AC or DC
marking,
respectiv ely,
according to the electric current
selected.
4.
Turn the Electric Temperature Control Knob to
"COLDEST"
setting.
5.
In case the cabinet is found too cold,
turn the Electric
Temperature Control Knob to a warmer setting.
OPERATION CHANGE
-
FROM ELECTRICITY TO
GAS
1.
Follow the starting up instructi ons of "Gas Operation".
Be sure to
set the Electric On/Off Slide Switch to
"Elec Off" position .
2.
When the burner is lit,
turn the Gas Temperature Control
Knob to a desired setting position .
FROM GAS TO ELECTRICITY:
1.
Follow the starting up instructi ons of "Electric Operation".
2.
Turn the Electric Temperature Control Knob

to a desired
setting position .
ICE MAKING:
For rapid ice production,
set the Temperature Control Knob
at
"COLDEST" position .
When ice has been produced turn the Temperature Control
Knob to the normal operation position .
Otherwise,
the general
storage area may become frozen.
Ice cubes take some time to form and it is advisable to
keep the ice tray full and ready for immediate use.
When storing frozen foods in the freezer food storage sec—
tion,
the Temperature Control Knob should be position ed at our
near "COLDEST" setting position depending on the ambient
temperature, how frequent ly the cabinet is opened and also the
position of the refrigera tor.
DEFROSTING:
Frost will gradually form on the evaporator
Since
excessive frost accumulation may reduce cooling efficienc y,
it
is recommended to make defrostin g at regular intervals
(10 days or so)
HOW TO EFFECT DEFROSTING
Turn the Temperature Control Knob to
"DEFROST" position .
Empty ice trays and fill them with hot water if possible to
shorten the length of defrostin g time.
This practice
may cause
the frost to melt away sooner and help prevent the food
