FUSES
(72 VOLT):
The Dodge fuse block is right of the steering column
under
the instrume nt panel.
The Motor Home 12 volt fuses
are inside the auxiliary battery box.
These are for the 12
volt lights,
the kitchen vent fan,
the 12 volt portion of
the optional electric refrigera tor and the water pump.

When
your XPLOR ER Motor Home is plugged into the 110
volt current,
the
12 volt battery charger keeps the battery
system charged.
While driving,
the alternato r charges the
battery system.
When
the ignition switch is turned to
"accesso ry" position the battery charger will charge both
batteries .
CAUTIO N:
Do not leave ignition switch turned to "accesso ry"
position for extended period of time while the system is not
being charged by battery charger.
When batteries are fully
charged,
a "diode gate" bypasses the current, preventi ng over
charging .

BATTE RY
INDICA TOR:
The battery indicato r in your XPLOR ER is located above
the
stove on the interior wall.
The indicato r will show you
how much of a charge your auxiliary battery has in the dual
battery system.
The battery is well charged if the arrow is
in the green area.
As the battery becomes weaker the arrow
will drop into the red area.

turn on
your engine and the alternato r will recharge the battery
system.
Hook-up to 110 volt and the charger will recharge the
system.
Be sure to run the refrigera tor on 110 volt
(AC) when
plugged into 110 volt
(AC).
KITCHE N VENT FAN:
Your XPLOR ER Motor Home is equipped with a 12 volt kitchen
vent
To use, pull chain n slightly and release from slot
in round hole and then let fan cover open
--
it will auto
maticall y start.
To stop fan
--
pull chain straight in.
When
closed snug, move chain in slot of larger round hole and hook
excess chain on hook.
The kitchen fan is 12 volt and should
not be run continuo usly for night ventilati on as it will run
down the 12 volt battery.
