Spare Tire; To Remove Spare Tire; To Replace Tire - Dodge Xplorer 224 Owner's Manual

SPARE TIRE:
The spare tire of your XPLORER ilotor Home is located under
the rear of the unit.
The wheel nut wrench with socket head
will fit the bolt in the spare
tire hanger.
The wrench is
stored with the jack in the left rear compart ment.
Raise the
Motor Home with the axle jack only
—
DO NOT USE A BUTIIPER JACK.
To Remove Spare Tire:
1. Loosen the bolt with the wrench
2. Remove wrench handle and insert into pipe so that the tire
and carrier does not drop.
Hold up and unscrew tire nut with fingers.
4. Remove tire from channel.
To Replace Tire
1.
Set the tire on channel,
2. Insert wheel nut handle in short length of pipe welded
to the carrier channel.
Lift tire up into place

using wrench handle for leverage .
4. Start bolt into threads.
Remove wrench handle and tighten bolt securely .
