give you a continuous pressurized
water
supply.
It is not necessary to drain the fresh water
tank prior to attaching your XPLORER to a city water supply.
The system is equipped with an automatic check valve and it
will
by-pass the water tank and pump.
NOTE:
By using the city water hook-up you are not filling
the water storage tank.
LOCATION:
The hose hook-up is located on the left side of
your XPLORER Motor Home near the rear.
OPERATION:
1
Use suitable length of good quality hose
(garden type)
between the water supply outlet
and the intake on your
XPLORER.
2.
Make sure all connections are tight to avoid drippage.
3.
Turn the water faucet on.
4.
To disconnect the city water hook-up
...
simply remove the
hose after the water supply is off.

Your new XPLORER Motor Home can be equipped with a gas-
operated,
3
gallon,
automatic water heater which includes a
shutoff valve for automatically shutting off the gas supply
if the pilot flame is extinguished or water temperature
becomes excessive.
Lighting and servicing the water heater
is accomplished through an access door on the left side
(driver's)
of the XPLORER.
OPERATION:
1.
When the fresh water tank is filled.. .turn the water pump
on.
. .
the hot water heater will automatically fill.
2.
Turn gas cock dial to
"OFF" position,
and temperature indi
cator to lowest position.
3.
Open valve on L. P.
Gas Bottle.
4.
Wait a sufficient length of time to allow
gas which may
have accumulated in burner compartment to escape
(at least
.5
minutes).
5.
Turn gas cock dial to Pilot position.
