Chapter 4 Telephone

4.1 Call a phone number

In the home screen, enter the phone number. To enter the +
character, used for international calls, select * twice.
To make the call, press n.

To end the call, press f.

4.2 Call a contact

Press m > Contacts.

To search for a contact, scroll to the desired name. You can also
enter the first characters of the first or second name in the
search field.

Select the contact.

In the contact card, select Voice call.

If the contact has more than one phone number, select Voice
call, and select the desired number.

4.3 Voice clear and Voice slowing

◆ Voice clear
This function detects ambient noise and optimizes the other party's
voice during a voice call by limited voice vocal range to make the
voice be heard clearly. And, the volume is automatically increased
also when your or other party's voice is small.

Deactivate Voice clear
During a voice call, select Options > Voice clear OFF.
Point
This function does not operate while using speakerphone
function.
This function operates only in 3G(WCDMA) network.
The settings are retained after a call.
This function is set to ON as default.
◆ Voice slowing
During a voice call, adjust the other party's voice to be heard slowly
by using the silence at intervals, to make it easier to be heard.
When the other party speaks without intervals, the voice is heard
at the normal speed.
Activate Voice slowing
During a voice call, select Options > Voice slowing ON.
Point
If you set Voice slowing to ON, the quality of the other party's
voice or music tone may change. In this case, set Voice slowing
to OFF.
This function operates only in 3G(WCDMA) network.
The settings are canceled after a call.
This function is set to OFF as default.
