Installing NI-488.2

This chapter describes how to install NI-488.2 for HP-UX and the
GPIB-ENET/100. The NI-488.2 software included in this kit is intended
for use with Hewlett-Packard workstations running HP-UX 9.01 or higher.
Complete the following steps to install NI-488.2 for HP-UX.
1. Insert the NI-488.2 for HP-UX floppy disk.
2. You must have superuser privilege before you can install NI-488.2
for HP-UX. To become a superuser, type
password.
3. Create a working directory (for example,

4. Add NI-488.2 to the operating system using the
