    About This Manual This manual contains instructions to help you install and configure the National Instruments GPIB-232CT-A RS-232-to-GPIB controller or GPIB-485CT-A RS-485-to-GPIB controller and the NI-488.2 software for Windows. The NI-488.2 software is intended for use with Windows 3.x. This manual assumes that you are already familiar with Windows 3.x.

The READY LED indicator should come on after the GPIB-232/485CT-A has passed its power-on self test, indicating the unit is ready for operation.
