Networking Modes and

System Configurations

This chapter introduces networking modes, system configurations, and

networking examples of ZXG10-OB06 (V1.0).

The ZXG10-OB06 (V1.0) connects to BSC through the Abis interface. It

supports networking modes of star, chain and tree.

Figure 66 shows the star networking mode of the ZXG10-OB06 (V1.0).

Each line denotes a bi-directional E1 connection. However, the design of

the actual related ID DIP switches at the BS side should be according to

the relative configurations. For detailed principles, refer to ZXG10-OB06

(V1.0) Integrated Outdoor GSM Base Station – Hardware Manual.

In star networking, each site contains n E1 PCM links directly from BSC.

The OB06 uses terminal equipment on each site to terminate E1 links. The

networking mode is simple, and provided convenient construction and

maintenance. Since the transmission of the signals is through fewer
