Do not connect the Charge Guard in series with the positive
supply wire of the 9450 as this is a high current connection and
the impedance must be kept to a minimum.

10 AWG: up to 65ft (20m)
for the total length of the positive
and negative wires between the
battery and the 9450 in order to keep
