Insert special characters and
punctuation marks under Chinese

input modes

Firstly close the Chinese input window, and then
press to open a list of special characters and
punctuation marks. Use the relevant direction scroll key
(the up, down, left or right scroll key) to reach and
highlight your needed special character or punctuation
mark, and press Select to input it.

Traditional English input

, , and indicate the selected character
mode. indicates number mode.
The indicator is displayed when you are writing
text using traditional English input.
• Press a number key ( —
until the desired character appears. There are more
characters available for a number key than are printed
on the key.
• To insert a number, press and hold the number key.
• To switch between letter and number mode, press and
hold .
• If the next letter is located on the same key as the
present one, wait until the cursor appears (or press the
right scroll key to end the time-out period), and enter
the letter.
• To erase a character, press
clear more than one character.
• The most common punctuation marks are available
under . Press

You can enter any letter with a single key press.
