Sensor Replacement

Caution
ONLY replace a sensor with another of the same type.
The gas detector is fitted with a replaceable sensor which has no user-serviceable parts. At the end
of the sensor's life replace it using the following procedure:
To change a sensor carry out the following procedure:

Isolate all associated power supplies and ensure that they remain OFF during the this
procedure.

Open the enclosure lid.
Unscrew the four M4 captive securing hex. screws, using a 4 mm (0.16 in.) A/F hex key
wrench. The lid is attached to the base by a retaining hinge. Lift the lid vertically away from
the enclosure base and then tilt it away from the base.

Disconnect the sensor wiring at the terminal block.
Record the position of the wiring.

Unscrew and remove the sensor's M20 locknut.

Remove the sensor from the enclosure.
