Installation Procedures
For Accuglide conveyors with mechanical sensors, removal of the existing sensor
rollers is optional. They can be converted to function as carrier rollers by
disconnecting their tension springs and allowing the small 3/4-inch diameter roller to
drop.
3.3
Mounting the Retrofit Kit Components
3.3.1 Replacing Sensor Rollers
If the sensor rollers are being replaced by carrier rollers, mark the location of the
sensors before removal.
3.3.2 Mounting a Bracket-Mounted Photo-Eye and Reflector
Note: Mounting a time delay photo-eye is the same as mounting a bracket-mounted
photo-eye.

Assemble the photo-eye mounting bracket to the adapter bracket using 1/4 in x 3/4 in
carriage bolt and nut.
