4. Position the jack at the correct jack
point as shown.
Make sure the jack is positioned on a
level and solid place.
JACK POINTS:
Models with rear stabilizer bar
Front-Under the front axle housing be-
tween the suspension arm and the
wheel
Rear-Under the rear stabilizer bar
bracket (right-hand side) between the
wheel and the differential or under the
rear axle housing (left-hand side) be-
tween the wheel and the differential
Models without rear stabilizer bar
Front-Under the front axle housing be-
tween the suspension arm and the
wheel
Rear-Under the rear axle housing be-
tween the suspension arm and the dif-
ferential
Put a jack handle end, extension and jack
handle together as shown in the illustra-
tion.

When connecting a jack handle extension
and jack handle end, use jack handle to
tighten the bolt on the joint as shown in
the illustration.
Make sure that the bolt fits into the hollow
depression on the joint when you tighten
the bolt.
When connecting the jack handle with ex-
tension, tighten the wing bolt on the joint
securely by hand.
NOTICE
Tighten all joints securely. Otherwise,
the extension may come off and it
may damage the paint or vehicle
body.
