After all 5 screws are removed, lift the front panel off of the fireplace by lifting the glass panel straight up and then out and away from the fireplace as shown in the diagram below. CAUTION: It is recommended that 2 people remove the glass panel to minimize change of breakage.

The hooks on the back of the glass panels fit into the slots on the side of the firebox. Once in the slots, the glass panel goes down and locks into place. NOTE: The 5 screws that were removed earlier during the removal of the glass panel are for shipping purposes ONLY.

Select a location that is not prone to moisture and is located at least 36” away from combustible materials such as curtains, drapes, furniture, bedding, papers, clothes, etc.
