Fault Conditions

The Z1 has the ability to detect operational problems and will
display the word FAULT on the LCD screen . (Figure 18)
The LCD screen should be checked for any FAULT messages
and the device checked for visible damage daily .
A fault condition is indicated when the word "FAULT" is
displayed accompanied by a two digit flashing number in
place of the pressure reading .
The table below provides a listing of fault codes and recommended actions to be taken by the user .

USB Firmware Upgrade
Z1 firmware upgrades can be downloaded via a link on support . h dmusa . c om . Complete
instructions can be found on the web site . To upgrade the firmware on your Z1 connect the Z1 to
your PC with the included USB cable . The USB firmware upgrade can also be used to change the
date and time settings on the Z1 by following the instructions on the web site .

Possible Causes & Solutions
Power is not present . Ensure the Power Supply is
connected and the power outlet has power .
Loose connection of the Power Supply at the Z1
or loose connection of the Power Cord at the AC
Adapter . Check the connections .
Z1 is not locked into position in the PowerShell .
Slide the Z1 into the PowerShell until it clicks
and locks into place .
Battery is not locked into position in the
PowerShell . Slide the Battery into the PowerShell
until the Battery Shuttle clicks and locks into
place .
Battery is not charged . Charge the Battery .
