SEAT BEL TS .. . While designed primarily for pas-
senger protection during sudden stops and col-
lisions, an optional Ford seat belt greatly reduces
the swaying and shifting about in the seat which
often results from bumps, turns, and fast stops.
Before you fasten a seat belt, make sure that the
two halves of the belt aren't twisted or reversed.
Then slide the flat end of the belt through the
buckle until it holds you comfortably in place.
