To choose a ringer tone for the CELLULAR line:
1. Press MENU/SELECT when in idle mode to enter the feature menu.
2. Press DIR / CID to scroll to >SETUP HS.
3. Press MENU/SELECT and DIR / CID to select >RINGER TONE.
3. Press MENU/SELECT and DIR / CID to scroll to CELLULAR TONE.
4. Press MENU/SELECT and DIR / CID to get to the next ringer tone and to hear a sample of it.
5. Press MENU/SELECT to save your preference and return to the feature menu.

Alert tones
To turn the KEY TONE on or off:
1. Press MENU/SELECT when in idle mode to enter the feature menu.
2. Press DIR / CID to scroll to >SETUP HS.
3. Press MENU/SELECT and DIR / CID to select >TONES.
4. Press MENU/SELECT to select >KEY TONE.
Or
4. Press MENU/SELECT and DIR / CID to select >BATTERY LOW.
Or
4. Press MENU/SELECT and DIR / CID to select >OUT OF RANGE.
5. Press MENU/SELECT and DIR / CID to select ON or OFF.
6. Press MENU/SELECT to save your preference and return to the feature menu.

Language
In this menu, you can select the language used for all screen displays.
To select a language:
1. Press MENU/SELECT when in idle mode to enter the feature menu.
2. Press DIR / CID to scroll to >SETUP HS.
3. Press MENU/SELECT and DIR / CID to select >LANGUAGE.
3. Press MENU/SELECT and DIR / CID to select ENGLISH, FRANCAIS or ESPANOL.
4. Press MENU/SELECT to save your preference and return to the feature menu.

Handset reset
1. Press MENU/SELECT when in idle mode to enter the feature menu.
2. Press DIR / CID to scroll to >SETUP HS.
3. Press MENU/SELECT and DIR / CID to select >RESET.
4. Press MENU/SELECT and RESET? will be prompted.
4. Press MENU/SELECT to confirm and reset all the personalized settings of handset to default.

Setup Base
6.3.1
Set the base ring volume
1. Press MENU/SELECT when in idle mode to enter the feature menu.
2. Press DIR / CID to scroll to >SETUP BS.
3. Press MENU/SELECT to select >BS RING VOL.
4. Press MENU/SELECT and DIR / CID to select RINGER OFF, RINGER LOW or RINGER
HGIH.
5. Press MENU/SELECT to save your preference and return to the feature menu.

Set the dial type
The default dialing mode is suitable for your country and network operator. It is unlikely that you
should need to change this setting unless advised to do so.
1. Press MENU/SELECT when in idle mode to enter the feature menu.
2. Press DIR / CID to scroll to >SETUP BS.
