Product Overview
A range of CDU types have been developed to support different
configurations. The choice depends on operator's initial and future
requirements. The following factors should be taken into consideration when
selecting CDU type:
CDU-G handles one or two dTRUs. Connected to one dTRU, it provides a low
capacity, high output power configuration. Connected to two dTRUs it provides
a high capacity, low output power configuration. CDU-G supports both
synthesiser and baseband frequency hopping.

CDU-G is available for GSM 800, GSM 900, GSM 1800 and GSM 1900.

Initial cost
Capacity and coverage requirements
Number of antennas.
Enables connection of two TX signals to two antennas. The TX signal can
be two combined signals or two uncombined signals. CDU-G has no
combining circuits; the combining takes place outside the CDU.
Provides simultaneous transmission and reception on each antenna
Amplifies two RX signals from two antennas for further distribution in the
CXU
