If the specified temperature is not
achieved
Check that no engine coolant leaks when the
temperature control valve is closed. If the temp-
erature in the outer facia outlets is appreciably
higher than in the centre outlet, this indicates
that engine coolant is leaking through the temp-
erature control valve when the valve is closed.
(The air discharged through the centre outlet
does not flow through the heat exchanger.)

under the heading "Fault tracing".
