Select the mode in which the serial SATA
controller operates:
Enabled: RAID mode.
Disabled: AHCI mode.
Note: This option is available if RAID is
supported.
Note: This option is available when
RAID is enabled.
Enter Intel Rapid Storage Technology
Configuration Utility to manage RAID
volumes on the Intel RAID Controller
Note: This option is available if RAID is
supported.
Enable: This selection enables
additional execution core units within a
CPU.
Disable: This selection enables only one
execution core unit within a CPU.
Enable: This selection enables
additional CPU threads. These Threads
appear as additional processors but
share some resources with the other
threads within a CPU.
Disable: This selection enables only one
thread within each execution core unit.
If you select Enabled, Intel AMT (Active
Management Technology) is configured
and additional setup items are provided
in MEBx (Management Engine BIOS
Extension) Setup.
Disabled
If you select Permanently Disabled, you
will never be able to enable it again. Be
cautious when you want to use this
option.
Note: You can enter the MEBx Setup
menu by pressing the Ctrl+P key
combination in the Startup Interrupt
Menu window. To display the Startup
Interrupt Menu window, press the black
button or Enter key during the power-on
self-test (POST).
