After installation, wait 24 hours before plugging in and switching on this appliance. If you are discarding an old appliance with a lock or catch fitted to the door, ensure that it is left with the door catch disabled or broken and in a safe condition to prevent children getting trapped inside.

NOTE: Your fridge must only be used to store food. Defrosting Your fridge will defrost automatically under normal conditions. Tips for keeping food perfect in the larder fridge Take extra care with meat and fish Cooked meats should always be stored on a shelf above raw meats to avoid bacterial transfer. Keep raw meats on a plate large enough to collect juices and cover it with cling film or foil.
WE RECOMMEND THAT ALL PRODUCE KEPT IN THE SALAD BIN ARE WRAPPED. Cleaning your fridge Remove the mains plug from the wall socket, open the door and remove all the food to a cool place. Use a solution of lukewarm water and a teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda with a soft cloth to clean the internal cavity and dry well.

Clean and dry the inside as instructed under the heading of cleaning the fridge. Leave the door open to prevent any smells from building up while the fridge is not in use. Replacing the light bulb 1 Before carrying out the bulb replacement always unplug from the electrical supply. The Internal light is located behind the Thermostat Control Dial panel.

Safety Electrical connections THIS APPLIANCE MUST BE EARTHED. This appliance is fitted with a fused three pin plug to BS 1363 which will be suitable for use in all houses fitted with sockets to current specifications. If the fitted plug is not suitable for your socket outlets, it should be cut off and carefully disposed of.
