5a. Power and Communications Jack Installation (Direct Connect) Have a certified electrician install a 110v AC outlet (an outlet with surge suppression is recommended) within five feet of where the HandPunch will be mounted. For Conduit Clamp (if needed)
Have a certified electrician install a 110v AC outlet (an outlet with surge suppression is recommended) within five feet of where the HandPunch will be mounted. Have a qualified telephone technician connect a dedicated analog telephone line to the modem jack.
HandPunch will be mounted. Install an RJ-45 surface mount jack within five feet of the HandPunch and have a qualified network cabling technician connect a 10BaseT port to this jack. For Conduit Clamp (if needed) Install 10BaseT port here.

Complete the Mounting To complete the installation of the HandPunch, insert the supplied key into the lock on the left side of the HandPunch and rotate it clockwise (towards the front of the HandPunch) until it stops.* Gently swing the HandPunch upward to its operational position, pressing the unit to the wall.
